Tuna PattiesRecipe of the day: Tuna Burgers

Tuna burgers are great for your crawing moments while still sticking on to your diet. If you`re on a low carbohydrate diet throw the whole grain roll from the tuna burger and place the burger pattie between 2 or more sheets of lettuce and add some vegetables instead of rolled oats.

Ingredients:

  • 1 tuna can (you know the main ingredient for tuna burger :D)
  • 1 egg white
  • 1/4 cup rolled oats
  • 1/8 cup chopped onion
  • 1/8-1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • Garlic and onion powder

  • How to prepare Tuna Burgers

    Put the tuna, oats, and whisked egg whites together in a bowl and mix them.Stir in onion, mayo, garlic, onion powder and then form the resulting paste into burger patties.Place the patties on a grill or skillet and flip at half time as you would with a regular burger because of the tuna that is precooked.

    I enjoy cooking with Tuna especially tuna burgers, you can create a great variety of dishes. However I am afraid about illegal fishing specially in areas such as the Pacific.I hope the course will go that way so that next generations can enjoy outstanding tuna meals.
