But if you are not careful with the back exercises you can injure yourself and back pain affects about 7 out of 10 people.

Here are some tips to prevent lower back pain:

  • keep your back and abdominal muscles strong
  • always stretch before any strenuous physical activity to prevent back pain and other problems
  • don’t slouch when standing or sitting
  • switch sitting positions often and periodically walk around or gently stretch muscles to relieve tension if you really want to prevent lower back pain
  • don’t bend over without supporting your back (this is more for old people because they have weak bones)
  • wear comfortable, low heeled shoes because the spine takes a good position and that position prevents lower back pain
  • sleep on your side and on a firm surface to reduce any curve in your spine because it`s in the back if you don`t already know 😀
  • lift heavy weights with your legs, keeping your back straight if you want to avoid back pain
  • get lots of vitamin D every day to keep your bones and spine strong
