  • one quarter of a cup with slivered almonds for proteins, building blocks for muscles
  • 2 tablespoons with skim milk
  • 2 egg whites
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla
  • some sugar-free syrup

How to prepare crispy french toast for a breakfast in bed that’ll fuel your muscles

In a large bowl as usual, whisk the egg whites together with the skim milk and vanilla. Soak the cinnamon raisin ezekial bread in the resulted mixture for maximum protein and fiber.

While the bread is soaking, place the cereals in towel or a plastic bag and crush with a rolling pin. Then, add some sliced almonds and shake the towel or bag to mix. Pour the mixture into a shallow pan and carefully remove the bread slices from the egg mixture and coat with the cereal crumbs resulted from the crushing, yeah coat the slices on both sides.

Place the coated slices on a pre-sprayed baking sheet and bake each side for 10 minutes, or until lightly browned. For a better taste you can top with cinnamon or sugar-free syrup.
