Jay Cutler’s example of a typical bodybuilder breakfast


Breakfast is the most important meal of the day and every morning, Jay Cutler eats like he’s been starving for 3 days! Everyone wants to find that secret recipe to grow huge muscle mass and in bodybuilding you really need big muscles with a shredded look.

Jay Cutler’s first meal of the day usually consists in:

  • 8 oz Beef
  • 2 Whole Eggs
  • 5 oz Oatmeal With Blueberries
  • 1 Cup Coffee

If you look closely in this photo, Jay Cutler’s first meal is accompanied by a white iPhone 5 and a Macbook; It seems that bodybuilders aren’t that hardcore and raw, they still need technology to make their life easier. 😀

This time, for breakfast, Jay focuses more on whole foods cutting back on sugar and he forgot the taste of an icy cold Coke or the awesome flavour of rice cakes. Some oatmeal, egg whites, mushrooms, a cup of coffee, some glutamine and some sugar free OJ does the trick for Jay’s first meal of the day ( along with a lot of vitamins like magnesium, calcium, vitamin A, C etc.)

He uses a lot of water when dieting, for example he uses water when he’s cooking his egg whites or his oatmeal but he still keeps a fat meal consisting in a juicy steak. His diet is about 3500-4000 calories a day and your average Joe needs 2000 calories to keep his weight but your average Joe doesn’t bench press 400 pounds.

Anyway, going to the gym and trying to get big muscles from those hardcore workouts is useless if you’re not dieting correctly.

    If that’s a typical bodybuilder breakfast, then it means that i will go broke by the end of the year! Such quantities of food are expensive in the long run. Love bodybuilding and all the things that it represents but it’s eating all of my money

    It’s good to know that Jay Cutler will be seen once again at the Mr. Olympia bodybuilding contest. Go on dude, eat, drink, sleep and train a lot! Building muscles isn’t an easy job and a good way to start your day is to eat healthy and a lot just like Jay does with his bodybuilder breakfast

    Grow like Hulk with food, that’s the main idea but you also have to keep your workouts up to date!
