Sure, a serious weightlifter shouldn’t drink and “eat big” but you really can’t have fun in between the years if you’re the guy who spoils the party…
But now everything is back to normal and if you begin your weightlifting schedule, please make a gradual change to your old workout and diet and also use some songs for workout.
You should start your weightlifting routine from the bottom, don’t use those heavy weights which you’ve been used to 2 weeks ago! Start light with a good warm up and then go to about 75% of your usual weights. Why is that? Because you risk a nasty muscle injury or in the best case, an intense and painful muscle soreness which will last for at least a week.
