Everybody buys lifting straps but what do they actually do and how should you use them

what are straps good forIt’s time to talk a little about how to use lifting straps bro because they are darn good for those who want to emphasize their bodybuilding workout results by adding more weight to the bar! You will always be limited by your grip strength and that’s when some good heavy-duty cotton sewn straps will almost do the grip for you and let you finish those 2-3 last lifts.

In this older article about how to get bigger traps, I’ve talked about lifting straps and their effect on your workout but I forgot to explain to some of you guys, how to use them in a proper way without doing harm to your wrists; Yes, you can get some nasty wrist injuries if you don’t know how to thread the ends of the straps!

These straps are good for anyone who wants to improve the quality of his/her workout and get big muscles with or without steroids.

Here are some weightlifting tips on how to use those helpful straps:

  • when you put the straps on the bar, you should go with their ends from under the bar, don’t go over top of it cause you won’t get a tight grip.
  • don’t keep the lifting straps on top of your wrists; the best position is down, toward your palms

If you didn’t understand anything from this article, then here is an instructional video with Kevin Weiss, he’ll do a better job in showing you what to do with a pair of lifting straps 😀 :
