We all are afraid to lose that hard gained muscle mass for which we constantly keep a sometimes stressful workout and diet routine, but Victor Martinez is a fine example that quality muscles will always be there even if you’re confined to a room without any kind of gym equipment; Here’s what happened!

So, our big bodybuilder who was born in the Dominican Republic went to an important bodybuilding show in 2011, and after he won the Sheru Classic from Madrid, he then had to travel back but at the JFK airport he was detained due to some green card issues and he was sent to a correctional facility!

Victor Martinez went inside weighing about 265 lbs or 120 kg and he got out after 7 months of prison at about 220 lbs or 100 kg! That’s about 50 lbs of muscles lost bro!  This happened in the conditions in which he did not have access to a gym and a proper diet plan which was rich in sugars and low on proteins (that’s why he ate small quantities of food).

The thing is that Victor didn’t look that bad after he was released as you can see from this photo; He still was buffed from the push ups and ripped from the fact that he ate only the healthy stuff from the prison diet.

And you know what? Victor Martinez was so dedicated to his workout and diet that the first thing he ate outside prison, was a whole barbecue chicken and rice! And the second day of freedom was accompanied by a gym session!
